NJ Transit Bus Collides With Lakewood Fire Truck
A New Jersey Transit bus collided with a fire truck from Lakewood, authorities said. The crash occurred about 2 p.m. Friday at Courtney Road and Madison Avenue, according to Emma Wright, senior public information officer with NJ Transit. "It was a very minor accident," Wright said. "There were no passengers on the bus. And the bus sustained just a small amount of damage." It was unknown whether any firefighters on Ladder 5 were hurt, reports said.

Disturbing cellphone video recorded on a New Jersey Transit train shows a man accused of assaulting a conductor spewing hateful profanity against him. The video was shot by Kore James of Paterson, who said he stopped recording and rushed to the conductor's aid when things got physical at the Ridgewood train station. Man Struck By Train In Somerset County
A man was airlifted to the hospital after being struck by a commuter train in Somerset County over the weekend, authorities said. The Morris & Essex Line train No. 734 hit him just west of the Far Hills Station at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, NJ Transit Senior Public Information Officer Emma Wright said. A medical chopper took him to Morristown Medical Center with undetermined serious injuries, Wright said.
