Two Jersey Shore residents were jailed after officials seized methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl pills, ecstasy, and cash from a borough home tied to a month-long narcotics investigation, authorities said Wednesday, May 27.
Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, Seaside Heights Police Department, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, and Asbury Park Police Department investigated alleged drug activity tied to a home used by Leo Johnson, 50, and Michelle Karcher, 46, both of Seaside Heights, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Nearly 20 people have been arrested in a major crackdown on drugs and illegal guns in Atlantic City, authorities said.
The Atlantic City Police Department announced the 19 arrests in a news release on Wednesday, Nov. 27. A weeks-long operation targeted drug activity and "quality-of-life issues" in the neighborhoods surrounding Florida, Bellevue, and Texas avenues.

Sixty-one bricks of heroin, ecstasy, and more than $800 in cash were nabbed during a drug bust resulting from a week-long investigation in Trenton, authorities announced.
Detectives patrolling the area of Cleveland Avenue developed probable cause to carry out a search warrant on Davon Williams, 34, Trenton Police said in a release on Thursday, Oct. 20.
The search turned up 3,050 decks (approximately 61 bricks) of heroin, three ecstasy pills, $825 in cash, and a digital scale, investigators said.

A Hackensack driver carrying a variety of illegal drugs raced along Route 17, cutting across three lanes several times, before surrendering to a pursuing Carlstadt police officer in Moonachie, authorities said.
