Boardwalk Drug-Dealing Investigation Yields 10 Arrests In Atlantic City: Prosecutor
Ten people were arrested in a drug-dealing investigation along the Atlantic City Boardwalk, authorities said. The suspects were charged with various drug-related offenses to include: narcotics possession, narcotics distribution, narcotics distribution within 500 feet of a public zone, the unlawful possession of a firearm, and the unlawful possession of hollow point ammunition. The death of a man whose body was recovered from the Passaic River following a police chase was being investigated by county and state authorities, a family member said she was told. Meanwhile, she and other loved ones wait in anguish for answers. Everyone agrees that the body retrieved from the river below Route 21 Monday evening was that of Thadius Wilder, a 35-year-old father of five from Passaic. UPDATE: A repeat offender with a drug-related history was arrested after a domestic violence assault at his parents' Dumont home on Monday, authorities confirmed. Christopher Joseph Stone, 26, was charged with aggravated assault and violating a restraining order following the incident, which brought a Bergen County Regional SWAT team, among other responders, to Blanche Court. Lakewood PD: Pharmacy Robber Caught During Drug Deal
A Lakewood man accused of robbing a local pharmacy at gunpoint last month was caught during a drug deal, authorities said. Detectives moved in after seeing the exchange between Elioenai Aguinaga, 31, and Krzysztof Slusarz, 39, of Lakewood, FL, on Tuesday, police said in a statement. Further investigation led to robbery and weapons charges against Aguinaga in connection with a March 26 holdup at Taylor's Pharmacy on Madison Avenue, police said.
