Child Drowning Dangers Trigger Recall Of Popular Backyard Pools
Thousands of above-ground swimming pools are being recalled because a design feature could allow children to climb in and drown. The recall affects about 4,000 Evajoy above-ground pools that are 48 inches tall or higher, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, Feb. 26. The problem stems from a compression strap that wraps around the outside of the pool and over the vertical support poles.
