Celebrity physician Dr. Oz helped Port Authority police resuscitate a stricken traveler at Newark Airport, authorities said. PAPD Officer Jeffrey Croissant saw the 60-year-old New Jersey man go down in the Terminal A baggage claim area shortly after 11 p.m. Monday, authority spokeswoman Lenis Valens said. A group of Port Authority police officers revived a construction worker who suffered a medical episode at LaGuardia Airport. Officers Oliver Ramclam, Richard McCarthy, Tim Feeney, John Gimigliano and Dan Novelli responded to a call for aid at a construction site opposite Terminal D shortly after 6:30 a.m. Monday, Port Authority Spokeswoman Lenis Valen said. : Lyndhurst Police Save Another Cardiac Victim
A 62-year-old Lyndhurst man lay lifeless on his front lawn Thursday night when a township police officer arrived and immediately began administering CPR. Officer Thomas McSweeney was the first responder at the Stuyvesant Avenue home, where he was quickly joined by Detectives Geoff Rejent and William Kapp. “Together they continued lifesaving measures and administered a shock from a defibrillator,” Detective Lt. : Port Authority Team Rescues Seizure Victim At Lincoln Tunnel
A worker had suddenly went into cardiac arrest on the roof of the Port Authority administration building at the Lincoln Tunnel when several heroes rushed to his rescue. Senior Tunnel and Bridge Agent Keith O'Halloran and Tunnel and Bridge Agent David Brierty found him not breathing, with no pulse early Saturday. Three Port Authority police officers quickly joined in. The rescuers began CPR, then gave him two shocks from a defibrillator. Soon, he began breathing and regained a pulse.
