A 20-year-old man from Central Jersey has been arrested for criminal sexual contact, authorities said. Dandre Burrell of New Brunswick was charged with improperly touching a woman, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Anthony A. Caputo of the New Brunswick Police Department. Last Wednesday, Burrell was charged with one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, Ciccone and Caputo said. Ex-Toms River School Worker Who 'Robbed Innocence Of Kids' Gets 30 Years For Sex Crimes
A retired Toms River Regional school district employee has been sentenced to 30 years in state prison for sex crimes against two children, authorities said. William J. Herflicker, III, 57, was sentenced on Monday for crimes committed between 2005 and 2010, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. Herflicker was convicted on Jan. 22 after a jury trial, the prosecutor said. Herflicker was found guilty of two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault, Billhimer said. Authorities: West Milford Man, Underage Boy Exchanged Sexual Images Of Each Other
A West Milford man sent sexually explicit images to an underage boy and had him do the same, authorities said. New York State Police alerted authorities in Passaic County to Tekanand V. Singh, 28, who they said began messaging the boy after meeting him online. A Bergen County Cub Scout leader from Oakland who also coaches youth sports was charged with sexually assaulting a minor. Gary Sarno, 47, remained held Monday in the Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing Wednesday in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
