A Jersey Shore high school English teacher has been arrested and criminally charged with having a longterm sexual relationship with a former student, starting when she was enrolled at the school, authorities said. Michael F. Howell Police Investigate Gun Complaint
A complaint about "someone waving a gun" in Monmouth County turned out to be false, and now the caller is under investigation, according to Howell Township police. The incident started in the Point O Woods development, when the caller told police someone was waving a gun out the window of a vehicle on Bergerville Road, police said. The minivan was pulled over near the Howell Township Library. Police investigating the report found the firearms were legally owned and properly secured in locked cases.
