Jameer Outsey, a three-year letterman at Franklin Township High School (Class of 2014), was fatally shot in Elizabeth on Saturday, Aug. 12, prosecutors said. The 27-year-old former athlete was hospitalized after being shot at North Broad Street and Magnolia Avenue, and subsequently pronounced dead, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said. Justin Prescott Reed, of Ewing, died on May 22, as a result of injuries he sustained in the May 14 shooting on Brunswick Avenue, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said on Wednesday, May 31.
