Six NJ Corrections Officers Indicted For Covering Up Pepper Spray Attack On Inmate, AG Says Six corrections officers were indicted after an inmate was pepper-sprayed and forcefully removed from his cell at a Burlington County detention center, authorities said. A grand jury indicted a sergeant and five senior corrections officers for the attack and subsequent coverup, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said in a news release on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Car Flips, Motorist Trapped In South Jersey Crash: Developing A car flipped into a tree in South Jersey, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The crash occurred before 4 p.m. on Recklesstown Way in Chesterfield Township, initial reports said. Feds: Hudson County Pair Used Drones To Fly Steroids, Phones, More Into Fort Dix Prison Two Hudson County men used drones to smuggle steroids, syringes, cellphones and pot into the federal correctional facility at Fort Dix, authorities charged. Federal agents arrested Nicolo Denichilo, 38, of Jersey City, on Thursday after learning of a scheduled drop at the Lakehurst facility, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said Friday. Also charged is Adrian Goolcharran, 35, of Union City, who initially was a fugitive and soon after was in custody.
