Tidal Flood Warning Issued For Jersey Shore, South Jersey: NWS
Coastal flood warnings are in effect for the Jersey Shore and South Jersey, according to the National Weather Service. The warning from the NWS in Mount Holly/Philadelphia is in effect until 5 p.m. Monday. "The threat will lessen as we go through the new week," the NWS said on Facebook. Water Rescues Reported In South Jersey
As the National Weather Service issued flash flood warnings for parts of Central and South Jersey, several water rescues were reported in Camden County. About 2:30 p.m. Thursday, first responders in Camden were called to Delaware Avenue and Cooper Street to assist "numerous cars in the water,'' according to initial reports. Tornado Watch Issued Across 16 New Jersey Counties
The National Weather Service on Thursday afternoon issued a tornado watch across 16 New Jersey counties. The watch remains in effect until 9 p.m. across Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Salem, Somerset, Sussex and Warren counties. The watch -- less severe than a warning -- was also issued for most of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Storms were expected to arrive between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., and end between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. Straight-line winds, large hail, lightning and flash flooding are also possible.

Whiting Man, 27, Indicted On Weapons Charges After Drive-By Shooting, Prosecutor Says
A 27-year-old man from Monmouth County has been indicted in connection with a drive-by shooting, authorities said. Joseph M. Galli of Whiting was indicted Thursday by a county grand jury on several charges of unlawfully possessing a firearm, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. Galli allegedly used the illegally-owned firearm last year to shoot at a house and vehicle in Marlboro, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey. Amazon plans to open another fulfillment center in Central Jersey at the site of a vacant Sears store.
