Man Seriously Injured After Crash On Route 287: Njsp A man suffered serious injuries following a collision on Route 287 in Somerset County on the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 18. At 5:18 p.m., a Ford pickup truck was traveling northbound on Route 287 in Bridgewater Township when it veered off the roadway to the right, struck the guardrail and then crossed into another lane, and hit another guardrail, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver, a 66-year-old Lake Hopatcong resident sustained serious injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

At 1:27 a.m., police responded to US Highway 202/206 near the intersection of US Highway 22 after a pedestrian, who has not been identified, was hit by a 2014 Toyota Corolla  while walking north in the right lane of the highway, police said.
