Wrong-Way Tractor Trailer Crosses Double-Yellow Lines, Traps Woman In Building: Bridgewater PD
A tractor trailer driver wreaked havoc in Bridgewater when he crossed the double-yellow line, struck several parked cars, a moving vehicle, and crashed into a building trapping an occupant, police said.
Wesley Jefferson, 62, of Dansville, NY, was heading north on Finderne Avenue around 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, when he crossed the solid double yellow lines into the southbound lanes of travel in Bridgewater, local police said.
Jefferson struck a 2006 Ford Ranger operated by a 33-year-old Bridgewater woman, and continued north in the southbound lanes, police said.

Attempted Murder: Somerset County Man Indicted In Chase With Police Lieutenant
A Somerset County man has been indicted on charges for first-degree attempted murder and other offenses following a June police chase with a local lieutenant, authorities announced Thursday, Sept. 21.
Brian A. Niziolek, 37, of Fairview Avenue in Somerville, was charged with first-degree attempted murder, second- and third-degree aggravated assault, second-degree eluding, second-degree burglary, resisting arrest, motor vehicle theft, and various weapons offenses following the police pursuit in Manville on Thursday, June 29, Somerset County Prosecutor John P.
