Motorist Trapped In Jersey Shore Crash: Developing
A serious crash was reported on the Jersey Shore, according to a developing and unconfirmed report. The crash occurred about noon at Adamston and Drum Point roads in Brick Township, initial reports said. An unconfirmed report said that a motorist was trapped. A 15-year-old boy has been sentenced to 11 years of custody under the Juvenile Justice Commission in connection with the stabbing death of his dad, a popular and beloved taxi driver on the Jersey Shore. Ibrahim Khater, 15, of Brick Township, previously pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter relative to the death of Mohammed Khater, affectionately known in the area as "Moe Cabbie," according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. New Smoothie Store Set To Move To Jersey Shore
Plans are in the works -- or blender, so to speak -- for the first Smoothie King in Ocean County. A township planning board meeting is set for Dec. 8 to consider details on a drive-thru restaurant proposed at 129 Chambers Bridge Road in Brick Township. Gunman Sought In Jersey Shore Road Rage Shooting: Police
Police in Brick Township are on the hunt for a gunman who fired three shots into a vehicle during what they are calling a road rage incident Saturday night. On Brick Boulevard, two white men in a red, newer model pickup with an extended cab continued to pass the victim and brake check him several times as they drove down Route 70 east, the victim told police. Firefighters were called on a report of a boat on fire, authorities said. The blaze broke out shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday at a marina off the 500 block of Route 70 in Brick Township, initial reports said. There were no injuries reported. Two men from Ocean County have admitted to running a drug production facility, authorities said. Jose Quintero-DeJesus, 37, of Brick Township, and Victor Mendoza-Gutierrez, 26, of Manchester, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to maintaining a controlled dangerous substance production facility, according to the Ocean County prosecutor. Firefighters battled a raging blaze in Brick Township resulting in injuries and destruction to multiple waterfront homes Monday afternoon. A man whose body was found earlier this week behind a Mount Holly convenience store had been stabbed to death by a local resident, authorities said Friday. Jimir Wynn, 29, stabbed Sean Reynolds, 31, of Brick Township, multiple times the night of Sept. 6, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Mount Holly Township Police Chief Richard Spitler said. Authorities ID Body Found By Child In Mount Holly As Brick Township Man
Authorities on Wednesday identified the man whose body was found behind a Mount Holly convenience store by a child as a 31-year-old Brick Township man.
