At approximately 8:50 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 11, the Seaside Heights Police Department received four phone calls indicating that two bombs were hidden at businesses on the Seaside Heights boardwalk, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Additionally, the callers indicated that they had operatives armed with guns on the Seaside Heights boardwalk, he said. Bomb Threats At 3 Walmarts In Central Jersey Unfounded There were bomb threats reported at three Walmart stores in Central Jersey, authorities said. The Monday, July 18 threats came at about 3:30 p.m. at 1126 Route 9 in Old Bridge, at the Edison Walmart on Route 27 and at the East Brunswick Walmart on Route 18. Prosecutor: Canadian Teen Admits Making Princeton University Bomb Threat A 16-year-old boy from Canada pleaded guilty on Friday to making several bomb threats at Princeton University, authorities said. The teenager, whose name was withheld as a juvenile, was charged with false public alarm, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office. The Canadian boy was sentenced to two years probation and 30 hours of community service, authorities said.  He also has to pay a $2,000 fine, undergo a psychological evaluation and lose his driver’s license for six months, they said.
