Atlantic City Man Confesses To Unprovoked Stabbing Of Convenience Store Worker: Prosecutors
An Atlantic City man admitted to stabbing a convenience store employee, authorities said. Francisco Bonilla, 35, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Dec. 10 to first-degree attempted murder, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Thursday, Dec. 12. The charges stemmed from an attack at the Cedar Market on North Rhode Island Avenue on Saturday, Feb. 3. Teens Carjacked Delivery Driver In Atlantic City: Police
Two Atlantic City teens were arrested after they assaulted a delivery driver and stole his vehicle, authorities said. Atlantic City police responded to the report of a carjacking on Sewell Avenue at 2:57 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, the department announced in a news release on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Officers found the 35-year-old male delivery driver suffering from injuries in the assault. Investigators said the man was making a delivery when he saw a teen boy trying to steal his vehicle. NJ Attorney General ID's Pennsylvania Man, 30, Fatally Shot By Multiple Police In South Jersey
Authorities have released the name of the Pennsylvania man shot by police in Atlantic County last week. Amir Johnson, 30, of Wilkes Barre, PA, died as a result of police gunfire on Thursday, State Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal said. Grewal's office is investigating the fatal police-involved shooting involving multiple officers from the Ventnor and Atlantic City police departments, he said.
