A 32-year-old man driving under the influence of a mix of drugs was sentenced to eight years in New Jersey state prison for a fatal crash, authorities said. On Sept. 27, 2021 at approximately 8:25 a.m., Michael Doyle of Pleasantville, operated a Honda CRV recklessly when he disregarded a red traffic light at the intersection of Black Horse Pike and English Creek Avenue, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Authorities ID Pleasantville Shooting Victim, 55
Authorities have identified a man shot to death in Pleasantville. At 10:47 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, Pleasantville police responded to a ShotSpotter notification on the 200 block of 4th Avenue. Police found Pleasantville resident Craig Wyatt, 55, unconscious and unresponsive outside a residence on Hendricks Street, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Wyatt was pronounced dead at the scene. Disturbing Details Released In Atlantic City Teacher Accused Of Relationship With Student
Disturbing details have been revealed in the arrest of an Atlantic City high school teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a former student. Joseph A. Scalfaro, 47, of Absecon, allegedly sent the 17-year-old girl coded messages, kissed her in his classroom, NJ Advance Media reports citing court papers. A 47-year-old man was found stabbed to death in an Atlantic City casino hotel room, authorities said. On Friday, Sept. 23, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Atlantic City police responded to a hotel room within the Ocean Casino Resort for an unresponsive man. A 42-year-old inmate at the Atlantic County Justice Facility remains in a coma after he was brutally stomped by a 26-year-old inmate last week, according to authorities and various news reports. Shakur L.
