Vintage Navy Training Plane Crashes At Airport In Philly Suburbs, 1 Hospitalized A privately owned vintage Navy training plane crashed in Pennsylvania on Wednesday night, officials said. Emergency crews were called around 7:15 p.m. Sept. 9 to Heritage Field Airport in the 3300 block of West Ridge Pike in Limerick Township, Montgomery County. The aircraft was identified as a North American T-6 Texan, also known as an SNJ in Navy service. It came to rest in a grassy area beside what appeared to be the runway.
