Linwood police released a statement saying only that Erland V. Chau, 72, was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose stemming from an incident in the Mainland Regional High School on Oct. 1.  Chau is the mayor of Northfield.
