U.S. Army Vet, Freehold Dad Joseph 'Joey' Black Dies, 30 Shock and sadness spread following the death of Freehold's Joseph "Joey" Black, who passed away on Sunday, Nov. 10 in Jackson, his obituary on the Old Bridge Funeral Home website says. He was 30 years old. Joey proudly served in the US Army from 2014 to 2017, where he was stationed in Korea as a skilled tank operator and member of the Panthers, later receiving an honorable discharge.  After his military service, he worked as a trackman for NJ Path Train Union TWU, known for his dedication and camaraderie. The brothers were struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver while riding their bicycles on Aug. 29 in New Jersey. The service began at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at  St Mary Magdalen's Church in Media, PA.  Police said that the event will cause major impacts to traffic.

Woolson, 43, was employed by the NJ Department of Corrections for the past eight years where she held several positions between Bayside and South Woods State Prisons, according to an obituary published by Hoffman Funeral Home.
