Krispy Kreme is getting an early start on fall with the return of pumpkin spice and several new seasonal treats. The doughnut chain announced its Autumn Seasonal Collection in a news release on Friday, Aug. 7. The new lineup will be available beginning Tuesday, Aug. 11, at participating locations nationwide. A flight from British Columbia to Toronto was canceled after a young child refused to stay seated with their seat belt secured, according to reports. Porter Airlines Flight 444 was preparing to depart Victoria International Airport when the incident happened on Thursday, Aug. 6. A 44-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding a bike in Neptune City, authorities announced Monday, Aug. 10. At 4:53 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, Neptune City police responded to Route 35 and Fourth Avenue after a man driving a 2014 Hino Box Truck was traveling on Route 35 when he collided with a man on a Cannondale bike riding westbound across the highway, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said. A 47-year-old Jackson man was arrested and charged with multiple weapons offenses on Route 195, authorities announced Monday, Aug. 10. A husband and wife died in an early-morning house fire in Middlesex County over the weekend, authorities and a local VFW said. The fire broke out at a home on Front Street in Jamesburg around 1:02 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, Middlesex County Prosecutor Linda Estremera and Jamesburg Police Chief Jason Muller said.
