Girl Listed Targets Of NJ School Shooting 'To See How People Would React,' Police Say A girl was taken into custody after police in New Jersey said she made a school shooting threat on social media "to see how people would react." Bridgeton police were made aware of the threat of a shooting at the Broad Street School on Thursday, Sept. 19, they said. "This threat was posted to Instagram and other social media applications," police said. "On the post there were many names listed as potential targets of the shooting." Two Teens Arrested With Handguns In Atlantic City: Police Two boys were arrested and two handguns were recovered in an Atlantic City arrest, authorities said. On Aug. 25, Detective Christopher Dodson received a tip that two juveniles on the Boardwalk were each in possession of a handgun. Dodson along with numerous other police officers and members of the Surveillance Center searched for and located the juveniles near Arkansas Avenue on the Boardwalk shortly after 10 p.m. As officers converged on the group, the two juveniles fled, police said.
