Motorcyclist, 64, Killed, Passenger Seriously Injured In Salem County Crash
A 64-year-old motorcyclist was killed and his passenger was seriously injured in a crash in Salem County, authorities said.
Troopers responded to a crash on Sunday, June 16 at 12:10 p.m. on Route 49 in Quinton Township, New Jersey State Police said.
Based on a preliminary investigation, a Honda SUV was traveling westbound on Route 49. A Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Route 49.
In the area of milepost 11.1, the Honda turned left, and the Harley-Davidson impacted the Honda, State Police said.

Joseph K. Cole, 47, Worked For Salem City Schools, 'Enjoyed Fishing'
Joseph Kenneth Cole, of Carneys Point, died on Thursday, Jan. 18, according to an obituary published by Adams Funeral Home.
He was 47 years old.
Born in Woodbury and raised in Pedricktown, Joe was a 1994 graduate of Penns Grove High School, his obituary said.
After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army.
Joe worked for the Salem City School District for the last 10 years as their district plumber.

NY Man Dead In Fiery Turnpike Crash
A New York man died in a fiery crash that closed the New Jersey Turnpike Saturday morning, July 22, police said.
Henry Subin, 77, of Katonah, NY, was heading north in a Jeep Grand Cherokee when he struck the concrete barrier of the toll plaza, overturned, and became fully engulfed in flames around 9:45 a.m. in Carneys Point.
The crash, near milepost 2.4 on the northbound side, closed toll lanes 1 to 4 for four hours.
Subin was killed as a result. The crash remains under investigation.
Armed Juveniles Stealing Cars, Robbing Gas Stations In South Jersey, Police Warn
A group of juveniles from Wilmington, DE have carried out multiple robberies across Salem County, authorities warn.
Heightened criminal activity has been reported within the Carneys Point, Penns Grove, Deepwater, and Pennsville areas, police said on Facebook.
The juveniles have mostly been targeting gas stations, but they are also targeting area residents and attempt to steal their cars, Carneys Point police said These are believed to be the same juveniles that police have dealt with in the past, they said.

The priests below are the latest named in sex abuse settlements stemming from the Diocese of Camden County's bankruptcy case, according to the law firm of Jeff Anderson & Associates.
The alleged crimes took place in Camden, Collingswood, Hammonton, Pennsauken, Waterford, Cherry Hill, Laurel Springs, and Carney’s Point, with the abuse spanning from the mid-1950s through the early 1980s, Anderson said.

Philly Area Men Sentenced In Armed Robbery Of South Jersey Bank
A pair of men from the Philadelphia-area were handed their prison sentences in the 2018 armed robbery of a South Jersey bank.
Antwaine Thomas, 41, of Philadelphia, was sentenced to 22 years and eights months in prison and Kareem Moore, 31, of North Wales, was sentenced to 14 years in prison, federal authorities announced Tuesday.
