Woman Convicted Of Murdering Partner With Statue: Prosecutor
A 77-year-old Mays Landing woman was convicted of killing her domestic partner on Tuesday, Sept. 22, authorities said.
At 5:39 p.m., Hamilton police responded to 13 Lewis Dr. and found Gary Johnson, 81, dead, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. Johnson had multiple wounds to his head and body, authorities said.
An investigation found Eileen Bright used a household statue and kitchen knife to commit the murder, authorities said. The jury rejected Bright's insanity defense, authorities said.
