At 1:45 p.m., officers and firefighters responded to Timber Creek Dog Park at 1701 Chews Landing Rd. in Blackwood and found the woman and her two dogs stuck in the water, Gloucester Township police said. Firefighters Save Dog Caught In Tide In Hereford Inlet, Firefighters Say A dog was rescued from an inlet in Cape May County, officials said. The Stone Harbor and North Wildwood fire departments responded to the Hereford Inlet for a water rescue at around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, the Stone Harbor firefighters union said in a Facebook post. Firefighters received a report that a dog named Bruno was swimming far from shore and in distress. A boat crew went to the inlet and quickly found Bruno struggling to swim in the tide.
