Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

20-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Crashing Into Cars, Tree In Elmont A motorist was airlifted to the hospital after slamming into several cars and a tree on a Long Island roadway. The crash occurred at 4:30 pm on Thursday, Oct. 17, in Elmont. A 20-year-old driver of a 1999 red Honda struck two parked cars and a tree on Carnegie Avenue., causing the vehicle to overturn. The man suffered multiple trauma injuries and was transported by Nassau County Helicopter 6 to a local area hospital where he is listed in stable condition. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

Recall Of 11.7M Pounds Of Meat, Poultry: List Released Of NJ Schools That Received Products A preliminary list has been released of schools that received items that were part of a nationwide recall of millions of pounds of meat and poultry products over fears they may be contaminated with Listeria. Man Nabbed For Forcibly Touching Woman At Stop & Shop In Merrick, Police Say A months-long investigation has led to the arrest of a man who is accused of forcibly touching a woman at a Long Island Stop & Shop. Pair Of Tropical Systems Threaten To Become Next Named Storm Of Hurricane Season Forecasters are monitoring a pair of systems in the tropics that could develop into named storms. Man Found Dead In Car On Shoulder Of Long Island Expressway In Hauppauge An investigation is underway after a man was found dead in broad daylight on the Long Island Expressway.
