Motorcyclist Airlifted Following Route 46 Crash:

A motorcyclist had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital after he crashed on Route 46 in Warren County on Wednesday, Sept. 18, authorities said. At 6:15 p.m., a Kawasaki motorcycle traveling westbound on Route 46 in Liberty Township lost control and veered off the right side of the road, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

A 32-year-old Pennsylvania man is facing new drug charges after a police pursuit led to the death of a motorcyclist, a Vietnam War veteran, in Warren County on Tuesday, Aug. 13, authorities said. At 10:19 a.m., a New Jersey State Trooper began following an SUV on Route 80 eastbound and initiated a traffic stop, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said. A 28-year-old motorcyclist from Whitehouse Station was killed in a crash on Route 287 in Bridgewater on Thursday, June 27, authorities said. At 7:36 p.m., a Yamaha motorcycle driven by Mazen Alnaser was traveling north on Route 287 when it exited the roadway to the left and struck a guardrail, ejecting him, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
