A New Jersey man and newly-retired New York State Police employee was shot and killed by his neighbor in Upstate New York who then killed his wife, and then himself, in a post-Christmas tragedy, according to officials and those who loved him. Tragedy In High Bridge: Crossing Guard Killed Remembered For Life Of Service
Robert "Bob" Bork, a 79-year-old High Bridge crossing guard struck and killed by a car last week is being remembered for his dedication to helping others. Bork was hit by a southbound vehicle on County Road 513 at the intersection of Larrison Avenue last Wednesday, Nov. 28, according to the High Bridge Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office.
