NJ Man Fatally Shot While Sitting In Car: Philadelphia PD
A 38-year-old man was shot and killed in his car in West Philadelphia on Monday evening, July 15, according to city police. Ardi Torollari of Northfield, New Jersey was shot in the chest while sitting in his Volkswagen on the 200 block of South 54th Street, investigators said in a release. Torollari was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries around 6:10 p.m., authorities said. Teen Who Sped Away From Traffic Stop Crashed Into Tree, Died In South Jersey: State Police
A Millville teen was killed when he crashed his car after leaving the scene of a traffic stop, authorities said. Thomas Burch, 19, died from his injuries in the crash on Monday, July 15, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene near milepost 0.1 on County Route 655 South in Buena Vista Township at around 3:22 a.m. Investigators said Franklin Township police stopped Burch in a BMW on County Route 655. Authorities have identified the Freehold man who was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle in Howell Township. Aaron Aponte, 28, died from his injuries in the crash on Tuesday, July 9, a spokesperson for the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said. The crash occurred at about 12:45 p.m. on Friday, July 5 on the I-295 ramp from Exit 45 (Mount Holly Road/Rancocas Road) in Westampton Township, according to the NJDOT. An 83-year-old woman was killed in a two-car crash in Burlington Township, authorities said Rose Zampino, of Burlington Township, was driving a Mitsubishi sedan north on Route 541 near Kelly Drive at about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, when a southbound Volvo SUV struck her vehicle, Burlington Township police said. Police ID 88-Year-Old Driver Killed In South Jersey Crash
Police have identified the woman killed in a three-car crash in Mount Laurel last week. Patricia Pierson, 88, of Mount Laurel died of her injuries several hours after the crash at the intersection of Elbo Lane and Amaryllis Boulevard, police said.
