Hoboken police said eight people were arrested at the annual event on Saturday, Dec. 21, where people dress up as Santa Claus for a bar crawl, a spinoff of the popular event held every year in New York City (scroll down for details).  Overall, police issued 16 traffic summonses, dealt with 13 fights, and responded to three motor vehicle crashes, police said. Head-On Crash Involving Three Cars On Route 9 Sends 2 Drivers To Hospital: Marlboro PD A head-on crash involving three vehicles early Saturday morning, Dec. 14, closed Route 9 and sent two people to the hospital, police in Marlboro said. The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. between Union Hill Road and the Manalapan Township border, when a vehicle traveling northbound entered the southbound lanes, colliding with another vehicle, Cpt. Steven Levy tells Daily Voice. The crash resulted in two drivers being transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Stafford Township police said only that the crash happened near Route 72 and Mill Creek Road around 7:40 p.m. Saturday, July 20. Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In Franklin Township Crash As 43-Year-Old Resident Police said they have identified the man who was killed in a crash in Somerset County on the early morning of Saturday, June 1.  At 12:17 a.m., police responded to a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Easton Avenue near DeMott Lane, Franklin Township Public Safety Director Quovella M. Maeweather said.  The motorcyclist, Darrell Montgomery, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene, Maeweather said.
