4th Stamford Suicide In Week Has Police Alarmed, Officers Offer Support Stamford Police are asking residents to reach out to their loved ones to check on them after four residents have committed suicide over the past week.  Assistant Chief Richard Conklin said a spike like this is unheard of for the Fairfield County town. He said he plans to use the money to take a vacation to Florida.  Juarez bought the ticket at ABC Mini Market at 41 Granite St. in Worcester. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

Man Hit, Killed In Northampton Shopping Center Parking Lot A 77-year-old man was hit and killed walking through a Western Massachusetts shopping center parking lot this weekend.  The man, whose name was not released, was hit around 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Big Y Plaza on North King Street in Northampton, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.  The driver remained at the scene.  The cause of the crash is under investigation. No charges have been filed in the case.
