Meth, Heroin Gets Man Arrested, Stafford Police Say
A 41-year-old Ocean County man was arrested and hit with numerous drug charges following a pedestrian stop in Stafford, authorities announced Wednesday, July 29.
At 6:45 p.m., on Tuesday, July 28, a drug enforcement unit stopped Sean Buckley, a West Creek resident at Route 9 and the Cedar Run Apartments after believing he was in possession of methamphetamine, Stafford police said.
A search of Buckley led to the seizure of suspected methamphetamine, suspected heroin, and drug paraphernalia, police said.

A drunk driver was arrested after he was going the wrong way in Toms River Saturday, July 25, authorities said.
Officers observed a vehicle heading eastbound in the westbound lanes on Route 37, the Toms River PBA said. Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the vehicle continued going the wrong way on Route 37, authorities said.
As the vehicle fled the scene, it almost struck a multiple vehicles and officers initiated a pursuit, with the car still traveling the wrong way, authorities said.

On Tuesday, July 21, officers responded to 16 Handles at 42 S. Park Street after a woman purchased a cup of frozen yogurt, only to inform employees she didn't have the money to pay for the yogurt, Montclair police said.
