Motorcyclist, 19, Killed In Crash With Pickup Truck In Linden
A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash Thursday night, Oct. 3 in Linden, police said. The Brooklyn, NY man was heading south on a 2022 BMW motorcycle when he struck a 2012 Ford F150 as it was making the turnaround to travel north at the Phillips 66 Domestic Trades entrance around 11:30 p.m., local police said. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene. No additional injuries were reported. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Linden Police Traffic Bureau at (908) 474-8505.

Unlicensed Driver, 25, Wanted In Deadly Fourth Of July Crash On Route 287: Prosecutor
A 25-year-old New York woman has been named "Fugitive of the Month" in one New Jersey county. Angely Betancourt has been charged with reckless death by auto and causing death while driving unlicensed in the July 4, 2022 crash that left one person dead on Route 287 southbound access ramp to Route 78 west in Bedminster, the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office said. The crash, which happened just before 12:25 p.m., was investigated by New Jersey State Police. The department did not immediately return Daily Voice's request for comment.
