A 26-year-old worker was rescued after he was trapped inside an asphalt bin in New Jersey on Tuesday morning, Oct. 13, authorities said. At 6:03 a.m., officers responded to AE Stone at 1435 Doughty Rd., after Cameron Briggs fell backwards into a recycled asphalt bin, Egg Harbor Township police said. An 18-year-old Bridgeton man was arrested and charged after he fled from police during a traffic stop, authorities announced Monday, Oct. 12. At 1:18 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, officers conducted a motor vehicle stop near N. Laurel Street and E. Commerce Street, Bridgeton police. Mauricio Pablo-Mendez refused to stop and attempted to elude before stopping the vehicle and fleeing on foot, Bridgeton police said. Pablo-Mendez was arrested after a brief foot pursuit, police said.
