At 6:39 a.m., officers responded to County Road 539 and McMahon Avenue and found a black 2026 Toyota Camry fully engulfed in flames, Manchester police said.  The driver, a 28-year-old New Brunswick man said he experienced engine failure while traveling southbound on County Road 539 and noticed smoke coming from the front of the car and exited immediately, police said. Fire crews arrived at the Hall Avenue scene around 3:40 p.m. to find an active gas leak and smoke coming from the building, prompting evacuations before Elizabethtown Gas secured the gas main and crews extinguished the flames, the outlet said.  One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and a third-floor family was displaced as officials continued investigating the cause, according to ABC7.
