A former detective has filed a lawsuit against a North Jersey police department, claiming years of retaliation, harassment, and racism by top brass drove him out of the department in early 2024. NJ Prosecutor's Office Detective Killed In Home Invasion: 'Truly Devastating'
A Cumberland County detective was shot and killed during a home invasion in Bridgeton, authorities said. Sgt. Monica Mosley, 51, died late at night on Tuesday, Oct. 15, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. She was a member of the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office. A Trenton police sergeant was accused of exposing himself in front of two female officers in the department's gym several times, according to a sexual harassment lawsuit. The two officers filed a civil suit on Friday, Aug. 9 against Sgt. Noel Santiago, accusing him of sexual harassment and other forms of creating a hostile workplace.
