4-Alarm Fire Destroys New Brunswick Auto Shop, Spreads To Home
A massive blaze destroyed an auto body shop early Friday, June 12 in New Brunswick, News12 New Jersey reports. The blaze broke out at Prestige Auto Service on Easton Avenue at approximately 3 a.m., with flames shooting through the roof. A nearby home was impacted and severely damaged too, according to the East Brunswick Independent Fire Company, which assisted at the scene. Evicted Tenant Kills Landlord, Himself Hours After Separate South Jersey Shooting: Prosecutor
A man who had recently been evicted from a South Jersey home returned to the home to kill the landlord before taking his own life less than a mile away, just after a separate shooting in a nearby town on Wednesday, June 10, authorities said. A Port Authority of New York and New Jersey employee from Pennsylvania has been charged after allegedly falsifying work records and collecting pay he did not earn, authorities said. Noah Nieves, 53, a maintenance supervisor for the agency, was arrested Tuesday, June 9, following an investigation by the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Special Investigations Unit, Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello announced. Motorcyclist Injured In Crash: Eatontown PD
A 79-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Eatontown, Thursday morning, June 11, authorities said. At 9:23 a.m., officers responded to crash between a motorcycle and a delivery box truck on Wyckoff Road near Brookwood Drive, Eatontown police said The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, but is currently in stable condition, police said. The Eatontown Police Department Traffic Safety Bureau is currently handling the investigation, police said. The driver of the box truck was not injured in the crash, police said.

A 55-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged after he robbed a woman pushing a stroller in Summit on Wednesday, June 10, authorities said.
