Ghost Gun, 10 Rounds Of Ammo Seized From Man Fighting With Spouse At Wildwood Motel: Cops A 47-year-old man who tried to disarm police officers was found with 10 rounds of ammo, a ghost gun, and more during a domestic dispute at a Wildwood motel on Monday, Sept. 2, Labor Day, authorities said. Police were called to the AA Heart of Wildwood Motel at 3915 Ocean Ave., around noon, where a man later identified as Rakesh Patel had tried to kick open the lobby door while fighting with his spouse, Wildwood police said. Car Rolls Over Man Trying To Prevent GF From Leaving In South Brunswick, Cops Say A 46-year-old man from South Brunswick was hospitalized after a car rolled over him as he sat in front of it in an attempt to prevent his girlfriend from leaving, police said. The man and his 37-year-old girlfriend were arguing outside of a Harvey Road home around 7:30 a.m. Monday, July 8, when the man sat in front of the vehicle, according to police. The woman got out of the car to tell him to move but had left the car in drive, police said. That's when the car rolled over the man, leaving him seriously injured. He ws rushed to RWJUH. No charges were filed as of press time.

Dispatchers Save Abducted Woman, Driver Arrested For Kidnapping At GWB, Cops Say Cool-headed police dispatchers from Edison Township are being credited with helping a woman abducted during a domestic dispute. Port Authority police later charged 39-year-old Chukwuebu D Emegoakor with kidnapping, criminal restraint, false imprisonment, terroristic threats and other offenses. The woman who was abducted called 911 at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, and was patched through to Edison dispatchers, police said.  Dispatchers kept the woman on the phone as the man drove toward New York City, with Edison police sending alerts to other departments, according to Edison…
