Avalon firefighters responded to the house on the 4600 block of Fourth Avenue at around 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, the borough said in a Facebook post. The three-story lightweight wood frame was on fire with heavy flames on the second and third floors. No injuries were reported in the fire. Crews had the fire under control in about 75 minutes.
