Atlantic City Robbery Fugitive Arrested On NJ Transit Train, Police Say A Galloway Township man wanted in an Atlantic City robbery was taken into custody on a New Jersey Transit train, authorities said. Manuel Alicea, 30, was arrested on Monday, Aug. 26, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. He was captured on the train at the Egg Harbor City station. Police said Alicea was a fugitive wanted for pistol-whipping a man on the 1100 block of Arctic Avenue on Wednesday, Aug. 14. Four Atlantic City Boys Took Stolen SUV On Joyride In South Jersey, Police Say Four Atlantic City boys were accused of stealing an SUV and driving it across Atlantic County, authorities said. A 14-year-old, a 13-year-old, and two 12-year-old boys were given several charges, the Galloway Township Police Department said in a news release on Monday, Aug. 12. Absecon police received a report of several people trying to break into vehicles in the city at around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11. The suspects were reportedly driving a Dodge Journey towards Galloway Township. Galloway police found the Dodge and stopped it near the intersection of Route 30 and Eighth Avenue.…

Earnest Carroll, 69, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, July 31 to second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and second-degree manufacturing/distributing cocaine. Police ID Motorcyclist, 59, Killed In Atlantic County Crash Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in an Atlantic County crash this weekend as a 59-year-old man. Joseph Stetser, of Absecon, was ejected from his 2006 Harley Davidson after hitting a guardrail on East Moss Mill Road near Sander Place around 12:15 a.m. Sunday, June 23 in Galloway, local police said. Stetser had been traveling westbound on East Moss Mill Road when he struck the guardrail just west of the intersection of Sander Place. He was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no witnesses to the crash, and the accident remains under investigation by officers of the Galloway…
