Yorktown Man, 28, Charged With Assault Surrenders To Police
A Yorktown man surrendered himself into police custody over the weekend for allegedly assaulting and hospitalizing his victim during a dispute that turned physical. On Monday, Yorktown investigators announced the arrest of 26-year-old Lawrence Welch, who turned himself in at police headquarters at approximately 5 p.m. on Friday, May 11 following an incident the following day that left his victim in the hospital.
