Missing Person Found Dead Near Hudson River
A missing person has been found dead in the Hudson Valley . The incident occurred in Rockland County at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6, in Nyack. According to Orangetown Police Capt. Michael Shannon, the department received a call for help from the Spring Valley Police regarding a missing person spotted in the area. A Hudson Valley fire department is mourning the loss of one of its active members who served his community for more than a quarter of a century. The death of Robert "Link" Linkenhoker was announced by Putnam County's Brewster Fire Department on Wednesday, Oct. 16. His age and cause of death were not made public. Authorities are searching for whoever fatally shot a 40-year-old man from Westchester, according to reports. The shooting happened in the Bronx on Wednesday, Oct. 2 around 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of East 198th Street and Pond Place, according to a report by ABC7. A woman died at a hospital after being hit by a car on a parkway in Westchester, police said.
