3-Alarm Fire Destroys Popular Hudson Valley Pizza Shop A three-alarm fire destroyed a popular Hudson Valley pizza restaurant and heavily damaged an apartment building. The incident took place in Dutchess County in the Town of Poughkeepsie in the Arlington Business District around 2 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1. The fire was first reported around 2 a.m. when a resident of the apartment house located on Main Street called to report smoke coming from the first floor. Details Emerge On Serious Three-Vehicle Crash That Caused Route 9 Closure Details have been released on a three-vehicle crash that caused the closure of a stretch of Route 9 late Sunday afternoon in Poughkeepsie. The crash, reported shortly before 5 p.m. p.m. on the northbound side, occurred at the intersection of Beechwood Avenue.
