'Suspicious Death' Under Investigation In Yorktown: No Danger, Police Say A suspicious death is currently under investigation in Northern Westchester, police said.  The incident happened on Tuesday, Jan. 24 in Yorktown in the area of 3270-3290 North Deerfield Ave., where police activity has centered, authorities announced around 12:30 p.m. Yorktown Police said a suspicious death is involved, but have not yet released more information.  There is not believed to be any danger to residents in the area, but authorities are asking the public to avoid the road for several hours.  This is a developing story.
