At approximately 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, Yorktown police officers were driving on patrol on Route 6 when they said they spotted Mahopac resident Nicole Gojcevic's vehicle crossing over lane markings and driving on the shoulder. According to police, during the subsequent traffic stop, it was determined that she was intoxicated.

Following the investigation on scene, police said they arrested Gojcevic for driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol contest greater than .08 percent, both misdemeanors. She was also levied a pair of traffic infractions for failure to maintain her lane and driving on the shoulder.

Gojcevic was arrested and released on her own recognizance later that day. She is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, March 14.
