Mohegan Lake Man Arrested On Violation Of Order Of Protection

MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. -- State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested a Mohegan Lake man on a charge of violating an order of protection on Monday, according to police officials.

Jonathan Witherspoon, 27, went to a former girlfriend's home and was accused of getting into a physical altercation with her, State Police said.

Witherspoon was arrested, arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail. He is scheduled to re-appear in the town court on Friday, according to State Police.
