YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Police arrested a Mahopac man after he allegedly stole a coat from a Sears in Yorktown, according to Patch.com.

The suspect allegedly tried to take a coat valued at $90 off of a display and exit the store. He was already in custody when police arrived, Patch.com said.

Police charged the suspect with petty larceny. He is due to appear in court on Thursday, Dec. 12, according to Patch.com
