Man, 32, Charged With Failure To Appear In Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Mahopac man was arrested by Yorktown Police after failing to appear in Yorktown Court for a past arrest for criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Yorktown police arrested a Mahopac man for failing to show up at a court hearing. He was located at the Putnam County Jail where he was being held on unrelated charges.

Chad Young, 32, was picked up on an arrest warrant after failing to make his court date scheduled for Feb. 16, police said. Young was arrested by Officer Beyrer at the Putnam County Jail were he was being held on an unrelated charge, according to police. 

Young was processed on the current charge and returned to jail. He is scheduled to appear in court again on May 17.
