Driver Intentionally Hits Another Vehicle, Yorktown Police Say

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Mitchell L. Fuchs Jr., a 34-year-old Yorktown resident, has been arrested by Yorktown police and charged with criminal mischief, a Class D felony, and attempted assault, a Class E felony.

Police say they were called to investigate a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle on Tuesday, Sept. 30. Following an investigation, its alleged that Fuchs, Jr. attempted to cause physical injury to another person by intentionally striking the victim's vehicle with his vehicle, according to police. 

Police say Fuchs, Jr. caused more than $1,500 in damage to the victim's vehicle. Fuchs, Jr. voluntarily turned himself into police and was placed under arrest. 

Following processing, Fuchs, Jr. was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 6 p.m.
