YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Eleanor Fortunato, longtime resident of Yorktown Heights, died Sunday, April 17. She was 86.
She was born on June 21, 1929, in New York City to Joseph and Rose Pascuzzo.
She married Joseph Fortunato in 1953, and they lived in Yorktown for 52 years.
She worked for the Yorktown School District for 31 years, and retired in August 2015.
She is survived by her son, Robert.
Family and friends will honor her life Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Yorktown Funeral Home, 945 E. Main St, Shrub Oak.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 137 Moseman Road, Yorktown Heights. Entombment to follow Rosehill Memorial Park.
