YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. Catherine Calidonna, a former longtime resident of Yorktown Heights, died July 9. She was 80.
Calidonna was born in Baldwinsville, N.Y. She worked as a registered nurse for Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mount Kisco. Calidonna also worked as a teacher for the Boards of Cooperative Educational Services licensed practical nurse program and as a public health nurse for Westchester County before retiring in 1992. She was most recently of Cape Canaveral, Fla.
Calidonna is survived by six sons, Steven (Maria), Greg (Cathy), Cyn (Gina), Mark (Barbara), Patrick and Michael (Sherly); a daughter, Mary (Paul); 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, James; a son, Vincent; a sister, Patricia Connor; and a brother, James Hearn.
Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Old St. Patrick's Stone Church in Yorktown Heights. Burial will be private.
